DESCRIPTION
By integral we mean which does not confine itself to the effects or causes behind the growth of total factor productivity (TFP), but also looks at the distribution of production gains among the company’s various stakeholders. By this means, regulators can be equipped with full information on the effect of past economic measures, which can be input to future regulatory decisions.
Our study will not adopt restrictive hypothesis about the conduct of companies or confine itself to the private sector, so as not to circumscribe the scope of the resulting methodology. In fact, good management of public companies not only entails the more efficient use of available resources, but also an appropriate allocation of these productive rents among stakeholder groups.
