The main thrust of this research project is to develop a conceptual framework and perfect pedagogic-didactic practices for teaching in intercultural contexts, with the ultimate aim of developing resources and disseminating work in this area throughout the education sector in Catalonia. This calls for a preliminary study to define the baseline situation and draw up project guidelines.

DESCRIPTION

The research itself will include an analysis of experiences to date and an audit of the material currently in circulation and how it might be used for the pedagogic purposes of the project. As well as proposing activities, we will select and/or prepare the educational resources (graphic materials, audiovisual material, etc.) to serve as support for classroom teaching units and extracurricular activities.

Also envisaged is the organisation of a national conference for the presentation and exchange of pedagogic and didactic methods applicable in a context of diversity and interculturality. This will provide a dissemination conduit for the best practices identified in areas of Spain already addressing this kind of educational need.
