The study centres on the EU institutional framework for security and defence, currently in flux due to changes in the very concept of security (which as a value or critical concept of Community construction has myriad manifestations on the, political, institutional, sectoral, horizontal and legal-dogmatic plane) and the imminent reform of the general institutional framework of the European Union.
