DESCRIPTION
The greater longevity of the Spanish population will mean more demand on care services to meet the needs of the oldest age groups. The funding of these services, public or private, will require the design of products in which the measurement of life expectancy with and without disability is a fundamental aspect. This project proposes a joint analysis of mortality and dependency in Spain; dependency being understood as a person?s inability to look after themselves, that is, to go about their normal daily activities without outside help.
