Will be addressed by building a computational model of the Spanish economy to evaluate the effects of tax policies on resource allocation and CO2 emissions. The model will support simulation of alternative tax scenarios and an assessment of their impact on: a) the environment, as measured by CO2 emission levels, b) employment, c) the welfare of families.

The project also explores the possibility of implementing an environmental tax policy with a double dividend for our economy: job creation, increased welfare and a decrease in CO2 emissions.
