DESCRIPTION
The design and analysis of the survey is the work of the BBVA Foundation?s Public Opinion Research Unit. The sample comprised 3,000 individuals, who were interviewed personally at universities throughout Spain between November 2004 and January 2005, and provides a representative cross section of the student population by subject area and type of institution attended (public or private).
Among the most significant findings of the study is that students are generally satisfied with their degree courses and their universities. Teaching staff are positively rated, while respondents identify the biggest failing as the lack of professional training.
