DESCRIPTION
The survey has been designed and analysed by the BBVA Foundation’s Social and Public Opinion Research Unit.
The sample consists of 3,000 individuals, who were interviewed personally at universities throughout Spain between March and May 2006. It provides a representative cross section of the student population by subject area and type of institution attended (public or private university).
Among the most significant findings of the study it should be highlighted that students are generally satisfied with their degree courses and their universities. Teaching staff are positively rated, while the lack of professional training is identified as being the biggest weakness of Spanish University.
