This context motivated the BBVA Foundation to present the results of this ‘Survey on the Use of the Internet in Spain’. To know in detail the map of Internet use in Spain, in particular the level of penetration of the Internet and the variety of tasks carried out with the Internet, is of great importance for policy makers, companies and individuals.
The empirical data of this survey was obtained from a questionnaire-based survey representative of the Spanish population aged 14 and over with a sample size of 6,000 individuals. Fieldwork was conducted during June by the survey research company, TNS Demoscopia. The design and analysis of this study were conducted by the Unit of Public Opinion Research of the BBVA Foundation.
