América Latina: contradicciones y esperanzas

Now that Latin America has written its own history, after decades of independence and in a process of political and economic transformation, it is possible to clarify the similarities and differences between the countries that make it up, and with respect to the international community. This publication provides a more in-depth knowledge of the current situation, hopes and commitments of a subcontinent that has so often been forgotten. The BBV Foundation collaborated with the Club of Rome on the work done at the Punta del Este Conference in 1991. One of its results was this report that aims to contribute a useful and necessary dialogue between Latin America and the rest of the world.
