The first prize went to the project ‘Renewable Energy Sources and the Environment’ which deals with the topic of renewable energies from all possible angles, according to the subject being taught.

In humanities and social sciences, the winning project was ‘Murder in the Cathedral’, which gives students hands-on experience in archive work and information gathering, analysis and processing, while teaching them the importance of both scientific rigor and the conservation of historical and cultural heritage items.

In the project ‘The History of Mathematics in One Year’, winner in the science and technology category, teachers and pupils drew up a calendar of historical and mathematical milestones from the 6th century to the present, to provide an overview of the subject through the ages which would fire the interest of today’s students.

The award in other curricular subjects and areas went to the project ‘Creating Musical Education Materials for Secondary School Students’, in which pupils and teachers worked together on ways to enrich the music curriculum for the fourth year of ESO (ages 14 to 15), including the production of original teaching materials.
