New information and communication technologies (ICTs) are transforming our society in numerous respects: lifestyles, consumption patterns, relations between individuals and companies, individuals and government, the organisation of production, product distribution, the dissemination of knowledge and information, etc.

The purpose of this book is to examine the technology revolution from varying standpoints: investment in ICT assets, effects on capital accumulation, the ICT goods sector, the use of ICTs in the Spanish economy and their impact on Spain’s economic growth.
