Tablas de vida de decrementos múltiples

This working paper analyzes recent trends in mortality by cause in Spain from the information supplied by the construction of multiple decrement life tables. On the one hand, we use the maximum period available by the data, 1975-2008 and we offer information by regions. On the other, the indicators used are based on the construction of multiple decrement life tables, which extend the well-known life table model typically used in the analysis of global mortality. This way of proceeding has the advantage of developing a consistent set of indicators within the context of the life table model.
