2022 call

Five research projects selected on core questions in five broad areas of knowledge, under the BBVA Foundation Fundamentos Program

The call for proposals under the BBVA Foundation’s Fundamentos Program has been resolved with the award of five grants of 600,000 euros per project for the conduct of fundamental and interdisciplinary research in the following areas:

The aim of the program, funded with a global amount of 3,000,000 euros, is to support exploratory research on core or fundamental questions in a scientific field or at the intersection of various disciplines.

 

After studying the 305 applications submitted, the evaluation committees in each area, whose membership is shown below, have selected the following projects, to be implemented within a maximum of three years.

PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY

Selected project: “An Electronic Quantum Simulator (EQS)”
