El sector servicios y el empleo en España

There has been continuous growth in the service sector in Spain, and over the last few decades it accounts for a majority of jobs in the economy. However, these jobs are by far and away the least known branch of activity. This work provides data and analysis on factors such as macro and microeconomic characteristics of the third sector, its relationship with technology, the core elements of the institutional framework of the labor market and the possible future of this employment. The BBV Foundation presents this detailed study with the conviction that an in-depth knowledge of the special nature of jobs in this sector constitutes key groundwork for the design of adequate policies.
