In this new edition, data on investment and capital stock has been updated up to 2022 with a nowcasting technique that helps analyse the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on capital accumulation in Spain and offers an insight into the evolution of its recovery.
The richness of the database enables the characteristics of capitalization to be studied from multiple angles, making these estimates an essential tool to analyze the sources of growth in Spain in over one thousand studies.
This edition offers an in-depth description of the analysis techniques used to construct the database and describes the evolution of investment and capital stock since 1995, both at national and regional levels. The study of the results obtained highlights the most relevant changes related with the pandemic and its effect on growth.
