Las políticas de gasto público en el proceso de convergencia

The public sector has grown to a very significant size in the Spanish economy over recent years. This research studies the behavior of this sector in Spain during the period 1985-1993, using for this purpose the public spending policies included in the national budget. The reason for choosing this period is to link the behavior of public spending with the economic cycle, while at the same time positioning public actions within the framework of the integration of the economy in the context of the European Community.
